LEICESTERSHIRE VIRTUAL SCHOOL PILOT
“Leicestershire Virtual School are extremely excited to be working alongside Bright Path Futures to pilot their resources, designed to support early English language.”
Summary findings from the pilot project:
- The welcome packs, including Bright Path Futures resources, were readily used and demonstrated a high uptake by our young people.
- The packs provide high-quality and fast access to English language learning and well-being strategies.
- There is no wait list or high cost that tuition or other support options come with.
- The packs help our young people feel welcomed and become a part of the community by promoting confidence in their communication and providing opportunities to learn and interact with peers or key workers.
- Moving forwards, the distribution of the workbooks needs to be closely monitored to ensure each young person receives one during their first encounter with their social worker or PA.
