Sohaila has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of People of California, USA. She has more than 20 years’ experience with various organizations in areas such as project management, coordination, monitoring and reporting, human resources, leadership, communication with stakeholders, and coordination of training programs.
Sohaila worked as a Training & Education Officer with the United Nations Development Program in Afghanistan until the end of 2021. Her main responsibility was to co-ordinate training and capacity development programs for the Afghan female police force.
After arriving in the UK in January 2022 she worked as an independent volunteer teacher at the Afghan Bridging Hotel in Northampton for more than a year, then started working for Bright Path Futures teaching the Practice Your English workbook online, as well as running outreach workshops for Afghan women in the Midlands.
