Narges Farahi
Narges is a Director at Bright Path Futures, and co-ordinates Bright Path Futures’ English language and literacy support programme for Afghan women in the UK. Since arriving in the UK she has also volunteered for the British Red Cross in Leicester supporting family reunions and case work, as well as providing interpreting and translation services.
Speaking 6 languages, and with a background in both education and finance, she has also worked as a TV and radio host, and is featured as both translator and demonstrator in the Dari and Pashto editions of our teaching and learning video series Practice Your English. She is a talented artist, and combines her interest in business development and creative arts and crafts with her strong interest in empowering women to gain skills in making and selling traditional Afghan crafts.
